Kristy Frame is a business minded General Counsel who uses her business background and ten years of high-exposure litigation experience in the areas of product liability, toxic tort, construction law, and commercial litigation to help growing companies manage legal risk to grow smarter from startup to sale, and every stage in between.
Kristy began her practice as a judicial clerk for the Hon. Anthony J. Mellaci Jr., J.S.C. (retired) where she learned to “think like a judge” – a trait she continues to use today to assess the viability of various legal strategies. Following her clerkship, Kristy practiced at a Manhattan law firm where she defended an international securities corporation in the noteworthy September 11th World Trade Center disaster litigation as well as defended high stakes product liability and commercial suits on behalf of large international self-insured clients.
Kristy moved to Arizona in 2010 to join the top-tier product liability firm Bowman and Brooke, LLP where she continued her practice in toxic tort, product liability and commercial litigation.
In 2015, Kristy went in-house as Deputy General Counsel, in charge of litigation and later Interim General Counsel at American Traffic Solutions, Inc., a privately held Arizona-based tech company, with annual revenue in excess of $200M. There, Kristy managed a team of in-house and outside counsel and the company’s nationwide litigation portfolio, (consisting of a wide range of matters including eight-figure exposure class actions, patent litigation, employment matters, and commercial disputes) and also negotiated and drafted customer contracts and counseled the executive leadership team on risk exposure and mitigation strategy.
An entrepreneur at heart, Kristy founded Frame Law, PLLC in 2016 to apply what she has learned through years of litigation and risk management to help growing businesses identify and manage the minefield of legal risks faced by growing businesses today.
